President's Comments

We have lost some of the third and fourth generations of the family. Condolences are extended to the families Marcella (Marcy) Baird (Mrs. Vernon Baird), Clayton Baird, Jr. and Beverly Baird Tindall (Mrs. Thomas Tindall). While the family continues to grow beyond the sixth generation, the third and fourth generations are in the Medicare years. This gives those generations, including myself, time to reflect on our legacy and the family’s heritage. We have a legacy and heritage that is a part of the community as well as our individual families. While the name Baird is more recognized, the family consists of other names that revert back to Ninnie L Baird. We all can be proud of the family legacy and heritage and desire to sustain the reputation over the years through the Foundation.
